Bollywood entry; Tovino reacts to Ranveer Singh’s comment
Tovino once again reaches the audience with the movie Anveshipin Athupum. Anveshipin will also find a film starring Tovino as the hero after Adhryshyajalakamal.
Tovino talks about not acting in other languages despite being active in Malayalam. Tovino says he might act sometimes if he gets such exciting offers, but Malayalam is always his favourite.
The actor’s response was a question about actor Ranveer Singh’s Instagram comment inviting Tovino to Bollywood.
Honestly, if you get a great offer like that, I think you should definitely do it. But the question remains, why should I go and act in another language?
There are as many actors as you want. There are talented actors in every industry. If I want to go there and make a film, shouldn’t it just be something I can do? If only then you have to go there and do it.
If there is someone more qualified than me, they should do it. Besides, I am happy in Malayalam movies. And if we want to expand the audience again, we can operate in a foreign language.
Then when a film comes in our own language more people will like it.
But when Minnal Murali, shot in Malayalam without any of this, trended in 30 countries for the first week despite being subtitled, I realized that the Malayalam industry is not that small,’ says Tovino.
