Moviegoers are looking forward to Yash’s film ‘Toxic’ with high expectations. Yash, who became a pan-Indian star through the KGF franchise, is acting in the direction of Geethu Mohandas, who gained international attention with films like ‘Liar’s Dice’ and ‘Moothon’.
The film, which is being prepared for pan India, has a huge star cast. There were reports that actress Kareena Kapoor will also play a pivotal role in the film. Meanwhile, news is coming out that Kareena has withdrawn from the film. Kareena was to play the sister of Yash’s character. Kareena backed out of the film when the dates of the previously contracted films and the schedule of Toxic fell at the same time. The national media reported that the withdrawal was after a mutual agreement was reached after speaking with the film’s crew.
The role of the sister is very important in ‘Poison’. He is a character who has to deal with many emotional moments. There are also reports that after Kareena’s withdrawal, the cast members are in talks with other actresses. Kiara Advani plays the female lead in the film. ‘Toxic’ is Yash’s next film after the release of KGF 2 in 2022. The title of the film is ‘Toxic – A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’.

This project was born from that thought. The film is a combination of two contrasting worlds and I found Yash to be a combination of the aesthetics of the story. The film is jointly produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The film will be released worldwide on April 10, 2025.
