China’s Heilongjiang Daily reported on the 24th that at least 10 people were killed in a roof collapse accident at a middle school in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province, China.
According to reports, the roof of the gym at the 34th Qiqihar Middle School collapsed the previous afternoon. It is known that 19 people were in the gym at the time, including students, and they were practicing volleyball.
Qiqihar city fire department received a report about the accident at 2:56 pm on the same day and immediately rushed to the scene. Four of the 19 people in the accident gym escaped on their own, while the other 15 were trapped inside piles of collapsed buildings.
