Tragic Accident in Mehedinți County Claims Life of 39-Year-Old Man

A devastating road accident occurred in Mehedinți County, resulting in the loss of a 39-year-old man’s life and leaving his 15-year-old stepson in a serious condition in the hospital.

The two were traveling to Gemeni village in the Dârvari community to hand over the car to a woman, as stated by relatives. Shortly after their departure, the driver lost control of the wheel, causing the car to collide with the top of a bridge and roll several meters across the field.

Although the boy managed to escape the damaged car on his own, the man suffered severe injuries and unfortunately passed away despite the resuscitation efforts of the emergency crew. This tragic incident highlights the dangers of losing control at the wheel and the devastating impact it can have on families.

With his last ounce of strength, the 15-year-old boy managed to free himself from the wreckage. Unfortunately, the man behind the wheel was resuscitated, but to no avail.

The police have initiated a criminal investigation into the incident, which will determine the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
