Car Crash in Hsinchu City Kills One and Injures Six
(Central News Agency reporter Guo Xuantan, Hsinchu County, 17) A car crashed in front of Hulin Junior High School in Hsinchu City yesterday, killing one person and injuring six. The Hsinchu District Prosecutor’s Office said the driver surnamed Peng was suspected of driving the car under the influence of drugs and causing death.
The accident occurred when a man named Peng was driving a passenger car and had a traffic accident with Zhong NV, who was riding a motorcycle from the opposite direction, and a total of 6 people were injured. The Hsinchu District Prosecutor’s Office is investigating whether the accident was caused by a small amount of drugs in the car.
The Hsinchu District Prosecutor’s Office will lead forensic doctors to conduct a physical examination and quickly launch crime victim protection and care systems. Hsinchu Crime Protection Branch will also provide victims with medical, legal measures, and psychological counseling.
