Tragedy Strikes: Yang Jae-Wong and Honey’s Dream Wedding Put on Hold After Devastating ‘Patient Death Accident
Yang Jae-woong and Honey Postpone Wedding Indefinitely
Yang Jae-woong, a psychiatrist, and Honey, an actress and singer, have decided to postpone their wedding indefinitely. The couple was initially set to tie the knot in September.
Yang Jae-woong’s agency, Mystique Story, announced the postponement, stating that the new date is under discussion and not confirmed. The agency emphasized that the decision is not a result of a breakup, but rather a response to the current situation.
The postponement comes after a patient’s death at a hospital in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, where Yang Jae-woong serves as the director. The incident led to a criminal complaint against the medical staff and a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission.
As a result of the incident, Yang Jae-woong and Honey faced public criticism, leading to Honey’s withdrawal from a broadcast program she was scheduled to appear in.
Yang Jae-woong apologized to the bereaved family, stating, “I cannot hide my devastated feelings, and I sincerely apologize to the bereaved and bereaved families who are grieving the loss of their families.” He also expressed his commitment to fulfilling his duties during the medical and legal proceedings.
Yang Jae-woong and Honey have been in a public relationship since June 2022 and announced their engagement last June. The couple had planned a wedding in September, but the incident has forced them to postpone their plans indefinitely.
