Pickup truck collides with an ambulance, 4 people dead, unfortunately a pregnant woman with her baby in her womb dies.
At 5.30pm on May 9, 2024, police officers from Mae Taeng Police Station, Chiang Mai Province, were informed that an ambulance had collided with a pickup truck. There were many injured people. The accident occurred in the area of Chiang Mai Phrao Road, Mae Ho Phra Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province, so forces were sent to investigate together with rescue personnel from Mae Taeng Hospital, Chiang Mai province, Mae Ho Phra subdistrict. At the scene, officers found that an ambulance from Phrao hospital had collided with two completely destroyed pickup trucks. They found 8 injured people, 5 of whom were injured, 3 of whom were stuck in the cockpit of the ambulance of whom they were unconscious. Four people traveling in the pickup truck were injured.
Initially there was a nurse in the ambulance. With driver and patient she was a pregnant woman who was unconscious. The authorities intervened urgently to help remove the car from the wreckage. First a pregnant woman who was in serious condition died later in hospital with her unborn baby.
Recently I know Two more people were injured in the pickup truck and died. There were 3 deaths in the accident, including the unborn child, which will be 4. The cause would have been due to the heavy rain which made the road slippery. Before the said accident The authorities will investigate to find out the real cause. before proceeding further
