Titan Submarine Wreckage Revealed: A Tragic End to a Doomed Voyage
September 17, Foreign news agencies reported a shocking tragedy involving the Titan submarine, which violently exploded while taking tourists to see the wreck of the Titanic at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, resulting in the deaths of all 5 crew members on June 18, 2023.
The US Coast Guard has released stunning images of the Titan submarine, showing its tail violently exploding before plunging to the bottom of the ocean at a depth of around 3,775 meters, causing the tragic death of the 5 passengers, including the CEO of Ocean Gate Company.
Investigations into the cause of the explosion have revealed numerous safety concerns with the Titan submarine, according to Tony Nissen, former director of engineering at Ocean Gate Company. Nissen claimed that the ship was neglected by Stockton Rush, the founder of Ocean Gate, who was responsible for its maintenance until the tragedy occurred.
The Titan submarine had been left exposed to the elements for seven months and had never been inspected by a third party before its ill-fated voyage. This neglect ultimately led to the tragic loss of life.

The US Coast Guard has also revealed the last moments of the passengers on the submarine Titan. The last message from the submarine Titan to the support ship, Polar Prince, read: “Everything is fine.” before the picture on the screen suddenly cut out, and contact was lost just a split second before the Titan ship exploded.

Last month, the Narjolet family, one of the families who lost a loved one in the explosion, filed a lawsuit against Ocean Gate Company, claiming damages of $50 million. They also accused the company of gross negligence, which led to the tragic loss of life.
