Tragic Loss: My Chemical Romance Drummer Bob Bryar Passes Away at 44 – Remembering His Legacy
Bob Bryar, the former drummer of My Chemical Romance, died at the age of 44. He was found dead in his home in Tennessee on November 26. Authorities do not suspect foul play, and the cause of death is currently under investigation.
Bryar joined My Chemical Romance in 2004, replacing drummer Matt Pelissier. He first met the band while working as a sound engineer for The Used during their tour together. Bryar was with the band for many years and contributed to their albums “The Black Parade” and “Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.” He left the band in 2010.
After leaving My Chemical Romance, Bryar worked with other bands before stepping away from music entirely in 2014. He turned to real estate and volunteered for animal welfare. My Chemical Romance has not yet commented on Bryar’s passing.
