Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen Launches New Projects in Marib Governorate
The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen has laid the foundation stone for a package of development projects in Marib Governorate, including a project to establish and equip a medical college, a project to establish and equip an educational complex for girls, and a project to improve water sources.
These inaugural projects aim to enhance general and higher education skills, create an appropriate environment for students to effectively contribute to the development of society, and achieve scientific progress. The program also supports higher education by providing technical education and vocational training, contributing to human development in Yemen.
The projects also include strengthening water sources in Marib Governorate and providing qualified medical personnel. The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen has provided various development projects and initiatives in Marib Governorate, including the Al-Abar Road expansion and rehabilitation projects, and projects to improve health services in 3 hospitals.

The program has also provided sustainable development projects and initiatives in 8 basic and important sectors, namely: education, health, water, energy, transport, agriculture, and fisheries, to develop and support the capacity of the Yemeni government and development programs across Yemen.
