He highlighted a $15 million settlement ABC paid after George Stephanopoulos made allegedly libelous statements about the E. Jean Carroll case. Trump said the network never issued a proper apology and continued to air segments filled with anti-Trump misinformation.
Trump also pointed to ABC reporter Rachel Scott’s question about a luxury jet from Qatar. He said scott framed it as a personal gift, implying corruption, when it was actually part of a diplomatic agreement between Qatar and the Department of Defense. Trump called Scott a “disgrace” and said ABC should be ashamed.
