Elon Musk Leads New Government Efficiency Ministry; Steve Wittkoff Named Middle East Ambassador
US President-elect Donald Trump announced key appointments in his administration today. He has selected Steve Wittkoff, a real estate investor and campaign donor, as his special envoy to the Middle East.
Trump also nominated John Ratcliffe, a former Representative, to lead the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Ratcliffe aims to protect the constitutional rights of all Americans and enhance national security.
Furthermore, Trump appointed South Dakota Governor Christy Noem to head the Department of Homeland Security. He praised her strong stance on border security, highlighting her efforts to send National Guard troops to the Texas border.
In a significant move, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, will oversee the new ministry of “government efficiency.” Musk will work alongside businessman Vivek Ramaswamy. Trump stated their roles are crucial for reducing government bureaucracy and cutting waste, which he considers essential for the Save America movement.
