Russian President Vladimir Putin will face his American counterpart Donald Trump, today in Alaska, using five of his close associates, headed by Sergey Lavrov, the ally close to him, and it is said that he spoke to the journalists, wearing a shirt written on the “Soviet Union.”
The Kremlin announced the officials who will accompany President Vladimir Putin to the first summit between the leaders of the United States and Russia since 2021.
The list of the five characters reveals what the possible agenda of the meeting in Alaska.

Russian President Assistant, Yuri Ushakov
Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov
Defense Minister André Pelosov
Finance Minister, Anton Selwanov
The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev
Lavrov and Oshkov are two veteran diplomats who have a pivotal role in shaping Russian foreign policy.
Lavrov is headed by the Foreign Ministry for 20 years, and Ushakov, the most important presidential advisor, was in more than a decade, and was previously held by the position of Russian ambassador to the United States.
As for the joining of Pelosov and Silwanov, by meeting, it means that the agenda will not only be limited to the war in Ukraine, but will also include strategic security issues and the issue of mitigating US sanctions on Russia.
As for Dmitriev, he has good relations with the Putin family, and helped the Kremlin build relations with the United States and with the international business sector.
