Trump Unleashes Bold Plan: Luring Companies to US with Exclusive Perks and Poaching Factories from China and Allies

Former US President Donald Trump, a Republican running for president, has pledged to give preferential treatment to companies that relocate to the US, while also emphasizing that he will take jobs away from China and its allies.

According to Reuters on the 24th (local time), Trump announced in a speech in the southern battleground state of Georgia that if he is re-elected, he will enact a law to encourage foreign companies to relocate to the United States.

It is known that they did not even hesitate to make extreme statements about taking away manufacturing jobs from foreign countries, including allies.

Former President Trump said, “The core of my economic plan is to revive manufacturing,” adding, “It will include corporate tax cuts, deregulation, and tax cuts on research and development for companies that bring manufacturing back to the United States and hire American workers.”

He then said that if they supported him, there would be a massive exodus of manufacturing jobs from America’s allies South Korea and Germany, as well as its economic rival China, saying, “We will take other countries’ jobs, we will take their factories.”

Georgia has the nation’s largest port facility and is a major automotive manufacturing hub.

Trump also announced that he would create special manufacturing zones on federal land and provide land for U.S.-based manufacturers. The details of this are unknown, but it is expected to be a plan that will reduce corporate and property taxes for companies.

In addition, it was reported that he pledged to appoint a global manufacturing ambassador to encourage the relocation of manufacturing facilities to the United States.

On the other hand, he threatened that companies that do not manufacture their products in the United States would face “very high tariffs” if they imported them.

Meanwhile, former President Trump said that the United States should get out of the Ukraine war, criticizing “President Biden and Vice President Harris of the Democratic Party for dragging us into the Ukraine war and making it impossible for us to get out.” He said, “Unless I become president, we will not get out of this war. If I am elected, I will definitely negotiate and get out.”
