Tainan, Taiwan – Over 3,000 runners, from toddlers too octogenarians, took on the scenic challenge of the 41st Zengwen Reservoir Marathon this morning. The event, known for its breathtaking views and challenging course, saw participants tackle a nearly 200-meter elevation gain as they circled the picturesque Zengwen Reservoir.
Tainan City deputy Mayor Ye Zeshan kicked off the race, emphasizing the event’s significance as the city’s final road running event of the year. “The Tsengwen Reservoir Marathon is a testament to our commitment to providing high-quality sporting events,” Ye Zeshan stated. “The fully closed course ensures runner safety and allows them to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the surroundings.”
