MEDFORD, MA (December 20, 2024) – Tufts University football is celebrating a historic achievement.Sophomore cornerback Ty Richardson has been named to the Associated Press (AP) Division III All-American Second Team, marking just the third time in program history a Jumbo has received this prestigious honor.
Richardson’s stellar 2024 season has already earned him recognition as an American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) All-American Second Team honoree.Now, he joins an elite group of Tufts legends: George Kurker (1956, 1957) and Ron Deveaux (1962), who also earned AP All-American Second Team accolades.
