Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the UAE; The agreement was for 13 contracts

Abu Dhabi: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has signed 13 agreements during his visit to the UAE. This is his first official visit to the UAE in 10 years. Erdogan meets with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The meeting took place at the Khasr Al Watan Palace in Abu Dhabi. The agreements were signed in the areas of health, agriculture, transport, industry, modern technology, defense, climate, culture, disaster management, media and youth development. Erdogan also visited the Expo. He was received by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Meanwhile, Erdogan, who arrived in the UAE for the first time in a decade, was given a warm welcome by the country. The Turkish flag was flown at major buildings and government institutions across the country, including Burj Khalifa. Erdogan was received at the airport by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. This will be a new chapter in diplomatic relations, said Dr. Sheikh Khalifa, an adviser to the UAE President. Anwar Gargash said.

In recent months, Turkish companies have made more inroads into the UAE. It is hoped that more Turkish companies will come here as trade relations improve. Two months ago, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed met with Erdogan in Ankara, Turkey. A $ 10 billion investment in Turkey was announced at the time.
