TVB will stop broadcasting ViuTV for the first time since 2021 to win the exclusive broadcast of “Oscar Awards”

ViuTV announced today (24th) that it has won the exclusive right to broadcast the “Oscar Awards” for the first time, that is, Hong Kong viewers can watch the “95th Academy Awards” which will be held on the 13th of next month the live broadcast on ViuTVsix96. The “Oscar Awards” has been broadcast exclusively in Hong Kong by TVB for many years. Until the “93rd Academy Awards” in 2021, TVB announced that it will not broadcast the awards ceremony live, and the media replied “TVB does not have the rights to broadcast the Academy Awards 2021. The station has decided not to continue discussing the broadcast rights for this year is purely a commercial consideration.”
