Micronics Launches Calux, a Premium Aluminum Keyboard with Excellent Typing Feel
Hanmi Micronics has launched Calux, a premium aluminum keyboard that offers a luxurious design and keyboard feel.
Design and Features
The name Calux is a combination of “Calix” and ”Lusso” and means sophisticated beauty. The high-quality design developed after a long period of research at the Micronics Design Center pursues a luxurious feel and user experience befitting a premium keyboard.
Its characteristic is that it maintains its unfading beauty even after a long time due to the unique luster of aluminum. The stability has been strengthened by using aluminum materials including the all-aluminum structure of the top and bottom panels and the reinforcement plate, which is difficult to find even in premium keyboards.
Calux has a smooth and uniform surface thanks to its carefully crafted all-aluminum body. The surface texture and color are enhanced through post-processing of anodizing the metal surface and feature simple but delicate details. The edges are slightly curved and feel comfortable in the hand.
Color Scheme and Perforated Pattern
The case color is a combination of silver and rose gold, while the keycaps are a combination of red and green, providing a strong contrast. Even though they are contrasting colors, they blend well together in the finished product. The luxury of rose gold, the vitality of red, and the stability of green come together to create a unique and sophisticated balance.
A delicate and unique perforated pattern has been applied to the keyboard, which adds a clean and sophisticated look to the product. The perforated pattern is applied only as a pattern, emphasizing the aesthetic effect without physically weakening it.
Technical Specifications
The switches can be selected between Gateron LP or Cherry LP fully lubricated. It has been designed with meticulous care, from the keycaps and switches to the sound-absorbing materials, PCB boards and anti-slip pads. It also features a soft white LED mood light to create a comfortable desk space.
Connection modes support 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.0 and wired modes, making it suitable for various usage environments. In addition, two USB Type-C ports are provided so that the keyboard can be connected freely depending on the direction of the user’s PC placement.
The battery is 4,000 mAh and can be used up to 200 hours when the LED is off. The keyboard layout can be selected between Windows and MAC layouts. It has a 3-level angle adjustment function at the bottom, which makes it comfortable even for long periods of typing.

As befits a premium product, the VALEX Premium 1:1 in-person delivery service is also supported. Pricing and Availability
Calux’s suggested retail price is 399,000 won, and it was launched exclusively through Fun Shop mall. To commemorate the launch, a limited quantity special price sale will be held, and the discounted price is 339,000 won.
