Scorpion Mortar Systems on Display and in Testing
Global Ordnance, the parent company of global Military Products, will showcase its mortar technology at the 2025 Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., from October 13-15, 2025. The AUSA Annual Meeting is a major defense industry event attracting military leaders, policymakers, and industry representatives. The exhibit will feature a Scorpion 120mm mobile mortar system integrated on a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), demonstrating the company’s expanding portfolio of modular indirect fire solutions.
Simultaneously, Global Military Products is participating in the U.S. Army’s Transformation in Contact (TiC) 2.0 event, beginning October 20, 2024, in Hawaii. The company’s Scorpion Light 81mm mobile mortar system will be evaluated by soldiers under a contract with the Product Manager for Artillery mortars and Precision Systems (PdM AMPS). PdM AMPS is responsible for developing and fielding modern mortar and precision systems for the Army.
Infantry Utility Vehicles: A Modular Approach
Global Military Products also offers Infantry Utility Vehicles (IUVs), a variant of the Army’s Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV). The ISV is designed to provide infantry squads with increased mobility and firepower. The Army awarded a contract for the ISV in 2020. However, the IUV system’s modular design allows it to be mounted on virtually any vehicle platform. Integrations have already been completed on the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, as well as the Polaris MRZR Alpha 4×4 and 6×6 platforms.
