Today (April 12), Vietnamese team players continue to practice with a focus on strengthening strength by fitness expert Brandi Regato Neto.

Today, the players have adjusted to the time zone difference. Therefore, head coach Hoang Anh Tuan increased the training density to 2 sessions, in which the morning focuses on supporting physical fitness and strengthening, and the afternoon focuses on honing tactical skills.

The weather in Qatar, although sunny in the morning, is windy so it still feels quite pleasant. After a full day of recovery at the hotel, the players did not have many difficulties in completing the requirements of the coaching staff.

Midfielder Nguyen Manh Hung said that in the recent friendly match with U23 Jordan, the whole team had not yet reached the best level in terms of physical strength and performance due to both intense training in Hanoi and at the same time having to go through many different activities. via long distance travel to Doha.

Nguyen Manh Hung, along with Le Nguyen Hoang and the two youngest players on the Vietnam U23 team list, are focusing on preparing for the 2024 U23 Asian finals.

However, with the advantage of being a student of coach Hoang Anh Tuan in youth teams, Manh Hung has shown very quick integration with the playing style that the teacher is applying to the U23 Vietnam team.

“I have played many tournaments under the guidance of coach Hoang Anh Tuan and in the familiar 3-4-3 tactical scheme. The modern playing style is nothing strange to me and is suitable for the players. young. I myself also find myself effective with this style of play”, said Nguyen Manh Hung.

Based on the team’s performance in the recent friendly match with U23 Jordan, Nguyen Manh Hung believes that he and his teammates need to improve their mobility to cover and support each other better in defense. as well as when deploying attacks.
