UAE Cracks Down on Fake Recruitment Companies Evading Naturalization Law

Dubai: UAE has issued a warning to fake recruitment companies to evade the naturalization law. Around 2,000 bogus appointments were discovered in two years. Officials said that there will be strict punishment against the companies that dared to take illegal action.

1202 private companies tried to subvert the naturalization criteria by making fake appointments. The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced that these organizations will be fined between 20,000 and 10,000 dirhams.

Actions were also taken against the natives who were involved in the wrongdoings of the organisations. The action will also include the withdrawal of the benefits granted to them.

Currently, 95,000 Swadeshi are employed in the private sector in the state, and the ministry reckons that it exists. The Ministry also said that more than twenty thousand private companies have complied with the Swadeshivatkaran Act. Private companies with more than 50 employees have increased their equity by 2 percent since last year, and the proposal is to appoint nationals.
