Ukraine strikes Crimea bridge, Sumy shelling kills three

Ukraine’s security service (SBU) said Tuesday it struck the Kerch Bridge linking Russia to Crimea using underwater explosives. The SBU released footage of the attack, claiming 1,100 kilograms of explosives were used to damage the bridge’s underwater supports.

Meanwhile, a Russian artillery attack on sumy, a city in northeastern Ukraine near the Russian border, killed three people and injured 25, including children, according to the city council and health ministry.
Video from Reuters showed damage on a street in Sumy, with rescuers and police at the scene. The health ministry reported that eight of the wounded were in serious condition, including three children.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said a rocket that failed to detonate was lodged in an apartment building. “That’s all one needs to know about the Russian wish to end this war,” Zelenskyy stated on his Telegram channel.
