On the hills and valleys of the embattled Donbass, a cat-and-mouse game has developed between Ukrainian and Russian units hunting for high-value artillery weapons.

Standing still is not an option for the soldiers of Ukraine’s 43rd Artillery Brigade. Anyone who spends more than 20 minutes on the firing line is putting their life in danger. The reason: Russian drones.

In recent weeks, Putin’s forces have increased their attacks with unmanned aerial vehicles along the front. A circumstance that is affecting the Ukrainian soldiers, as the commander of the 43rd artillery brigade explains.

His unit was no longer able to carry out its work to the usual extent and they had to adapt their approach.
