Shortly before Russia occupied Audijivka, a battlefield in eastern Ukraine, a battle video of Ukrainian soldiers escaping from here was released.

The dire situation at the time was clearly captured.

There was also evidence that, during the withdrawal, hundreds of wounded people were ordered to be left behind and burned.

As the sound of gunshots and shells is continuously heard from outside the building, the soldier leaning against the window fires back.

(Doo doo doo doo) “It’s an assault unit, an assault unit!…300 more are wounded.”

Desperate crying continues from inside the moving vehicle.

“There’s a drone above us! (Drive! Drive!)”

The soldiers fighting inside the ruins of the building let out self-deprecating sighs.

“We won’t do it, the whole area is under surveillance.”

Here is a video of the Battle of Audijivka released by the 3rd Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Army.

Although the exact moment was not revealed, it clearly showed armed soldiers moving between destroyed buildings and being bombarded by Russian soldiers.

Reuters explained that the Russian army had driven out the ‘Kiiu unit’ with a significant number of soldiers and artillery firepower.

There was also evidence that an evacuation order had been given to burn everything, leaving behind 300 people wounded.

CNN reported that the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops was swift and merciless.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it had taken control of the Audi Ivka coke and chemical plant, which remains the last stronghold.

“We took full control of Audiyivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, which was a strong defensive stronghold of the Ukrainian army.”

Reuters diagnosed that while Russia was able to boost its domestic morale with this occupation, Ukraine was forced to reflect on the grim reality of its dependence on the West’s arsenal.
