Unbelievable in the US: American Woman Left Speechless by Japan’s Jaw-Dropping Security Scene
Discovering Japan’s Hidden Gems: A Safe Haven for Tourists
Japan is a country known for its unique culture, rich history, and breathtaking landscapes. One aspect that sets it apart from other countries is its exceptional safety record. Two American tourists, Dimitri and Khan, recently experienced this firsthand during their 16-day trip to Japan.
Traveling Across Japan: From Hokkaido to Okinawa
Dimitri, a resident of Arizona, USA, and Khan, from California, embarked on an adventure of a lifetime, visiting Tokyo, Hokkaido, Okinawa, Miyakojima, and more. Despite the long flight, Khan was thrilled to be in Japan, while Dimitri joked about his stiff back.
During their conversation, Dimitri recalled his initial impression of Japan, “The first thing I thought when I was riding the limousine bus from Haneda Airport to Tokyo was, ‘The roads are so clean!’ It looks like you can eat it right there!”
A Safe and Secure Environment
As they explored Japan, both Dimitri and Khan were struck by the country’s safety and cleanliness. Dimitri praised the atmosphere, saying, “Everything is very clean, and I felt very safe overall.” Khan shared a similar sentiment, “I was surprised to see so many children walking alone in Japan during the day and late at night.”
In the United States, children are often prohibited from going out alone, but in Japan, it’s common to see children riding the train by themselves. Khan was amazed by this and even mustered the courage to use the subway alone at night to go shopping. “It’s almost impossible in America,” he said.
Japan’s safety record is a testament to its unique culture and values. As Dimitri and Khan continue their journey, they can enjoy the rest of their stay in a relaxed manner, taking in the sights and sounds of this incredible country.
