north koreaNorth Korean authorities emphasized on the 11th (local time) that in a situation where the United States and South Korea are pushing the situation on the Korean Peninsula toward war, North Korea has no choice but to continue strengthening its self-defense defense capabilities.

A spokesperson for North Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on the day through the state-run media ‘Korea Central News Agency’ that “the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea will take practical measures to respond to military threats from hostile forces and maintain power.” region.

According to Reuters, North Korea has accused the United States and South Korea of planning more than 20 war plots this year, forcing them to take steps to prevent the outbreak of nuclear war. The spokesperson repeatedly emphasized that North Korea has no choice but to use force against external threats.

Earlier, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres criticized North Korea’s launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), to which Kim Yo-jong’s sister responded that North Korea’s weapons tests were “self-defense.”

On October 31, North Korea test-fired the Hwasong-19, a very large solid fuel intercontinental ballistic missile, demonstrating its new military power. The missile flew high into space, tracked by Japanese and South Korean troops, and finally landed in the sea between Japan and Russia at a higher altitude than North Korea’s previous launch record.

In addition, the Korean Air Force announced that it would conduct its first drone joint live-fire strike training with the U.S. Air Force. The dispatched ‘Global Hawk’ and ‘Reaper’ drones used GPS (Global Positioning System) guided munitions to simulate attacks on enemy targets.
