Understanding the Causes of Nosebleeds: A Comprehensive Guide

Nosebleed (epistaxis) is bleeding from the nose, divided into 2 parts: bleeding from the front of the nose. And nasal bleeding from the back of the nasal cavity has a more dangerous cause than bleeding from the front of the nose. So when the nose bleeds It could be a warning sign of diseases such as

1. Tumor

cause: Cancer or benign tumors that are supplied by blood vessels. It occurs in the nose, sinuses, or behind the nasal cavity.

symptom: Occasionally bleeding or a large amount of nosebleed, you should undergo a nasal endoscopy. or x-rays for diagnosis

2. Irritation or injury to the nose

cause: Often picks nose, gets punched on the nose Blows nose hard in dry air and rapid changes in air pressure, such as when boarding an airplane.

symptom: Usually not much blood is drawn. And for a short period of time, you may experience bleeding and bruising near the time of recovery.

3. Inflammation in the nasal cavity

cause: From viral infections, allergies, sinusitis, using an air compressor while sleeping

symptom: There’s blood mixed with the mucus.

4. Anatomical anomalies

cause: Nasal septum crooked or has a bony growth in the wrong place Including having a hole running through it, causing an imbalance in the air.

symptom: Blood often flows into the nose itself. and recurs in areas where the nasal septum is deviated or has bony growth.
