Filmed by the sea, Trovato explained her absence. “Each of us,at least once in our life, passes through some storms,” she said. “I have to tell you why I disappeared and why I apologized to you. I waited, I learned to wait. I only followed the advice of two people: the great master Vessicchio and a great friend.”
New Music on the Horizon
Trovato indicated that she had been advised to seek opportunities outside of Italy. “Thay told me that I woudl not find in Italy what I was looking for,” she stated. “That it was useless to return to Rome… abroad I would find what I was looking for. I found it, and it gave me so much confidence. It allowed me to show what I knew.”
She further elaborated on her creative process, stating that after 2003, following her departure from Caterina Caselli’s label, she dedicated herself to writing. “Each song I wrote…I already knew the dress and the arrangement of my songs. Before, in a room, I only went to listen to what the arranger did, but I could not open my mouth.”
Trovato revealed that she has been working with a producer abroad who has given her the freedom to arrange her music as she envisions. The new song, which she says fans have been waiting for, is slated for release at the end of April. “Now, after 22 years, I found a producer abroad who gave me the trust to arrange the song you waited for, and that will come out now, at the end of April… If you help me, then many will come out.”
She concluded by acknowledging her absence from social media, emphasizing that it was for her fans. the upcoming musical project marks a significant return for the artist.
In recent months I have been far from social media … but in reality, I was too long far from the scenes in general. A time someone said to me: “But who c …. or do you think you are?” Words that hurt, who remain inside you. So I stopped running, I stopped looking for the stage at all costs. It was the real friends who made me understand that I had to force things, that the right moment would come alone, and that I just had to wait. That moment … has arrived now. in the video I share today I will tell you all this, and I also give you a small preview of what is about to be born. I didn’t find myself, no. I was in the recording room, at work with a new producer that I respect a lot and with whom I am creating something true, of mine. Thanks for being there, even in silence. Now we can go back to keeping us company … with music. With love, Gerardina
