Unet System wins order for Air Force Internet network NAC project

Unet System (CEO Shim Jong-heon, www.unet.kr), a network security company, won the “air force Internet network NAC (network access control) construction project”.

This project is the first NAC project for the Ministry of National Defense’s Internet network, and following the Air Force, the Navy and Army are also planning business in the second half of this year. The Air Force plans to strengthen the PC and network security in the military by preventing the threat of hacking and malicious code infection of internal user PCs through the introduction of NAC, and utilizing strong network access control through user authentication and consistent security policy management functions.

Unet System was selected as a business operator because of its superiority in technology evaluation as well as overall business operation capability. Shim Jong-heon, CEO of Unet System, said, “We have been growing by showing superiority in the domestic financial and public sectors. In particular, we achieved a splendid achievement by winning both the Ministry of Public Administration and Security’s secondary project and the Air Force project, which are large NAC projects ordered in the first half of this year, further solidifying our leading position in the domestic NAC market.”

Meanwhile, Unet System recorded sales of KRW 4.5 billion in the first half of this year thanks to the growth of key markets such as NAC and wireless LAN security products. In particular, sales of flagship products increased by more than 50% compared to the same period last year, resulting in higher profitability.
