Delegates will have the opportunity to engage with some of the brightest minds on the latest ideas in global citizenship and interconnectedness and discover how to harness the power of global mobility.
Christian H. Kalin, Chairman of the Henley & Partners Group, highlights the current relevance of cross-border connections for global citizens.
“What we call the Great Heritage Migration reflects a global trend driven by geopolitical instability, economic uncertainty, the climate crisis and technological disruption. Wealthy individuals are increasingly recognizing that in an interconnected world, relying entirely on one nation – even a prosperous and democratic one – as their place of residence or citizenship can be a risk they no longer wish to take. However, as they consider their options, they have a crucial opportunity to think about the wider implications of their decisions. How can wealth be used not only for personal gain, but also to create a positive social impact? Global citizenship is fundamentally based on the belief that we have responsibilities that extend beyond our own borders – to our communities and to the world as a whole. The aim of this conference is to broaden our perspectives through shared learning, enabling meaningful change locally and globally. »
Dickon Mitchell, Prime Minister of Grenada, and Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, will be among the distinguished speakers at the conference. Mohamed Nasheed, former President of the Maldives and current Secretary General of the Climate Vulnerability Forum, will also share his thoughts with senior government officials from Indonesia, Montenegro and the South Pacific.

Other notable speakers include Parag Khanna, Founder and CEO of Climate Alpha, Professor Mehari Taddele Maru of the European University Foundation and Johns Hopkins University, Irene Mia, Senior Fellow at the Institute of International Studies and Balaji Srinivasan, an American technology entrepreneur , investor and author. of the Network State.
