Community Sports Development: 3V3 Basketball Friendly Match for Young Workers

The Party Committee of Sanjiang Road Community, Changjiang Road Street, recently organized a 3V3 basketball friendly match for young community workers with the theme of “Social enterprises build cohesion, co-governance and sharing to write a new chapter.” The event, held at Emeishan Road Middle School on the west coast of Qingdao, aimed to promote the vigorous development of community sports, build a bridge for communication and interaction between social enterprises and enterprises, and enrich the cultural and sports life of young workers in the area.

The opening ceremony featured an enthusiastic speech by Mou Xiaoyong, the leader of Changjiang Road Subdistrict. He emphasized the significance of sportsmanship in improving personal quality, enhancing team cohesion, and stimulating work enthusiasm. Athlete representative Li Xian also delivered a speech, calling on all participating players to unite and strive for the development of the subdistrict community.

The basketball game attracted 12 elite teams from the community and surrounding enterprises, with over 50 young workers and masses participating. The game was intense and fun, showcasing the positive and challenging spirit of young employees. After intense knockout and single round-robin matches, the champion and runner-up teams were decided. Chen Yingmao, secretary of Sanjiang Road Community, Changjiang Road Street, presented awards to the champion and runner-up players.

The Sanjiang Road Community Party Committee will continue to uphold the concept of “co-construction, co-governance and sharing between the community and enterprises.” They will innovate the forms and content of activities, enrich the cultural and sports life of community residents, and provide more opportunities for corporate employees to showcase themselves, exchange and learn. The committee will also explore new models and methods of community governance, promoting the deep integration of grassroots party building and community governance.
