Taichung City Party Headquarters Calls for Support for Chairman Ko Wenzhe
The People’s Party has issued a call to action, urging supporters across the country to travel north to show their support for Chairman Ko Wenzhe. In a Facebook post, Taichung City Party headquarters announced that over 10 tour buses have been arranged, with supporters who paid 500 yuan before noon set to depart at 12:30 pm on Sunday.
Chairman Jiang Heshu emphasized that the people of Taichung have not found any evidence of Ke Wenze’s wrongdoing and are eager to show their support. He encouraged supporters to stand up for what they believe in and not let external forces intimidate them.
Jiang Heshu also addressed concerns about the cost of supporting Chairman Ko Wenzhe, stating that supporters who paid 500 yuan but did not attend would have their money donated. He assured supporters that the City Party Department would handle the fare and provide two meals on the bus.
The Taichung City Party headquarters has also announced that Kai Bi, a paid consultant to the government, has been appointed as the vice chairman of the People’s Party. Jiang Heshu emphasized that the vice chairman must be appointed by the chairman.
