Interview with the‌ Vietnamese Women’s Union in Europe: Achievements and Challenges

On September‌ 9, 2023, the Union of Vietnamese Women in Europe was officially established, marking ⁣a significant milestone in‌ the history⁢ of Vietnamese ⁢women’s organizations in the​ region. Since its inception, the Union has‌ been committed to promoting community ⁢strength and solidarity among its‌ members.

Key ‍Achievements

The Union has made significant contributions to various charitable causes, including:

• Donating to families ​affected by the fire in a‌ mini apartment building in ⁢Hanoi
• Participating in the “Women nationwide turn to Dien Bien” journey
• Joining the “Godmother” program
• Contributing to the construction of the ‌Rainbow Park on Truong Sa ‍Lon‍ island

In addition, ⁣the ‍Union has ⁣also supported various initiatives, such as the “Spring of Love” program, ⁢which donated to the “Pink Heart” fund to​ help⁣ the less ⁢fortunate. The Union has‌ also mobilized donations‍ to ​support people affected by market fires in Poland and⁤ the Czech Republic, as well as families⁤ of ⁣victims affected by landslides in Son La.

Cultural ‍Events

The Union has also ​played a significant role in promoting Vietnamese culture in Europe. In mid-June, the Union accompanied the Vietnamese Women in Poland to successfully‌ organize the European Ao Dai Miss Finals in‍ Warsaw, Poland, ​which brought together Vietnamese women from 11 ⁤European countries. This ⁢event served as a‌ platform to showcase Vietnamese culture⁣ and beauty, as well as ⁣a bridge for Vietnamese women living in Europe to share and learn ‌from each other.

Challenges and Opportunities

Despite facing challenges, the Union has experienced numerous advantages, including the enthusiasm​ and dedication of its‍ members. Although many members have‌ not received formal⁤ training in ⁢association work, they have all contributed their⁤ time and effort to the community.

The Union has also innovated its content and methods of operation, ‌focusing on bringing ‌practical benefits to its ⁢members. ⁤By providing a ⁢platform for ⁢women to express their thoughts and aspirations, the Union has become a solid spiritual support for its members, sharing in‌ times of hardship and adversity.
