Al-Ittihad Makes History with 7-1 Victory Over Al-Wahda

Moussa Diaby became the second player in Saudi Professional League history to provide 4 assists with Al-Wahda against Al-Hazm in February 2011 after Moroccan Youssef Al-Kadivi.
Moussa Diaby also set another personal record, becoming the sixth player to provide 3 assists in one match for Al-Ittihad in the professional league after Mohamed Noor, Mohamed Abu Saban, Juan Pablo Rodriguez, Fahd Al-Mawlid, Igor Coronado.
Laurent Blanc’s Historic Victory
Al-Ittihad team coach Frenchman Laurent Blanc was a part of Al-Ittihad’s historic victory (7-1) and won the first three matches for the first time in his coaching career.
His best results were wins in the first two rounds with Bordeaux in France and a loss in the third.
Four Al-Ittihad club coaches preceded him in achieving these victories.
