Land ⁤Rover Unveils the ⁣Exclusive Defender Eivissa ‍Limited Edition

Land Rover has revealed⁣ the ‘Defender Eivissa Limited‌ Edition’, a unique ⁣tribute to⁤ the Spanish resort island of Ibiza. This ⁢limited edition model will‌ be ‌produced in only six‌ units worldwide, available in two distinct versions ⁤that capture‍ the essence of the ⁤Mediterranean and​ the vibrant culture of Ibiza.

“Avisa” is⁣ the Catalan name for Ibiza, and Land⁣ Rover reflects its deep connection with the island’s​ nature in the vehicle’s design. ‍The model is composed of ‌two configurations, respectively “Alba” ‌and “Mezzogiorno”,⁤ inspired by the ‌vibrant nightlife and beautiful landscapes of Ibiza.

The ‍‘Sunrise’‍ version, released as the Defender​ 110 ‌model, features a⁣ yellow exterior reminiscent of the⁤ magical Ibiza sunrise, finished with gloss⁢ black accents. ⁤This design symbolically expresses‍ the intensity of the sun rising after ​a‌ colorful night in Ibiza.

A Tribute to Ibiza’s Rich ⁣History and ⁣Culture

Land Rover ‌describes⁣ the limited-edition model as “a tribute to the rich history ​and culture‍ of the island of Ibiza”. The fact⁤ that only 6‌ units were produced is deeply linked to the ancient ⁢history of Ibiza. Ibiza’s original name, ‍’Iboshim’, was given in ⁤honour‍ of ‍’Bess’, a god associated with the number 6, worshipped on the island by the Phoenicians.

This special limited edition can ⁤only be ordered at the⁣ “Destination‌ Defender Ibiza” event, taking place from ⁣13th to 29th September. During the event, in addition to the two AVISA models, the Defender OCTA equipped with a V8 engine will also be exhibited.
