Amy Messenger: What is a Jotbug?

I encountered​ an issue with the messenger turret in​ Amy Messenger. When⁣ I hit the turret, it doesn’t take any damage and ⁣just seems to be malfunctioning.

Has anyone else experienced ⁣this issue?‌ What is a Jotbug, and how can I resolve this problem?
