Masterful Cosplay: Kametaro’s “Zenless Zone Zero” Crete Wig Set
Cosplayer Kametaro’s amazing cosplay of Kreta from the popular game ”Zenless Zone Zero” has been creating a buzz on social media. Kreta is the only daughter of the construction company “Shiragishi Heavy Industries” that appears in the story, and while she has a small and cute appearance, she is a character that has the presence and strength of a young boss. Though she is small at 150cm tall, she can also be fierce, and her hairstyle expresses this side of her temperament.
On social media, there have been many comments praising Kametaro’s Creta costume, such as “Kametaro’s Creta costume was so cute that I started ZenZero”, “I saw him just before he changed from his costume into his regular clothes and went home, and the reproduction of the wig was so beautifully made, and the shape and the atmosphere of the character were just like Creta, it was amazing and it was the most memorable… I finally found him”, and “I actually met him, and the changes in his facial expressions and the details of his weapons were so well-crafted that it was overflowing with love for the character”, capturing the hearts of many people.

For Kametaro, Crete was a life-size cosplay character. “The thing I paid the most attention to when cosplaying Kreta was the wig. It was the first time I used a waffle iron to create a wig set. The wig itself, two buns, and four strands of hair… After heating everything with the waffle iron, it took three days to shape it…. I think that because I took the time, I was able to maintain Kreta’s impressive hairstyle and keep it from falling apart, even in the scorching heat of Comiket Summer…! Also, as I am petite at 141cm tall, I am very happy to be able to cosplay as Kreta life-size!”
Kametaro took on the challenge of creating a difficult hairstyle that combined cuteness and fierceness. His passionate expression of Crete with his whole body in the wig will surely be etched in people’s hearts for a long time to come.
