one,Basic conditions

1. Abide by Chinese laws and regulations, respect Chinese social ethics and customs, strictly abide by the school’s rules and regulations, and have good moral qualities and behavioral habits;

(2) Be friendly to China and do not make statements or do anything that would endanger China’s national interests and security;

(3) Study hard, have good attendance, and complete teaching tasks on time;

(iv) Be honest and trustworthy, respect teachers, unite classmates, care about the collective, and actively participate in various activities organized by the school and college;

(V) Complete semester registration and pay tuition, accommodation, insurance and other expenses that need to be paid by oneself;

(VI) Only undergraduates, masters and doctoral students within the academic system can apply (excluding freshmen of the Class of 2024);

7. MBBS students of 2018 can apply.

Basic requirements:

1. Comply by Chinese laws and regulations, respect Chinese social ethics and customs, strictly abide by the school’s various rules and regulations, and have good moral qualities and behavioral habits;

2. Be friendly to Chinese people and refrain from any words or actions that harm China’s national interests and security;

3. Study hard with good attendance, able to complete teaching plan tasks on time;

4. Honesty and trustworthiness, respect for teachers, unite classmates, care for the community, actively participate in various activities organized by the university and college;

5. Complete semester registration, clear tuition fees, accommodation fees, insurance fees, and other expenses that need to be paid;

6. Only bachelor, master & doctoral students within prescribed study period are eligible to apply（2024 new students are not included);

7. Students of 2018 MBBS class are eligible to apply.

Under the same conditions, priority will be given toStudents who excel in the following areas:

(1) Those who have made outstanding contributions to the school and Chinese society;

(2) Those who love their major and have achieved certain academic results;

(3) Having performed well in public welfare, cultural, sports or practical activities inside or outside the school, or having been commended in various activities or competitions inside or outside the school;

(IV) To undertake on-campus social work such as international student ambassadors, volunteers, assistants, dormitory management volunteers, college administrators, student journalists, etc.; to actively cooperate, assist and support the work of the Overseas Education College and the teaching departments on a long-term basis, to play an exemplary role among students and to demonstrate a good mental outlook.

Under equal conditions, priority will be given to students who have outstanding performance in the following areas:

1. Those who have made outstanding contributions to the school and Chinese society;

2. Those who have achieved academic performance;

3. Outstanding performance in public welfare, cultural, sports, or practical activities both on and off campus, or receivedawards/recognition in various activities or competitions both on and off campus;

4. Participated in campus work such as international student ambassadors, volunteers, assistant managers, dormitory management volunteers, student journalists, or more; Long term active cooperation, assistance, and support for the work of College of International Students and teaching departments, playing a leading role among students and demonstrating a good moral standard.

II. Applicants and Requirements

(I) For English-taught undergraduates, the students who are in the MBBS classes of 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 must be ranked in the top 10 of their class, and the students who are in the MBBS classes of 2022 and 2023 must be ranked in the top 3 of their class (see the attached table for the list of students who meet the requirements)

(2) Undergraduate students taught in Chinese, GPA ≥ 2.3;

(three)Within the school systemMasters and doctoral students can apply, and the standardized score must be ≥75;

(IV) Students who have received the CSC full scholarship, the provincial government full scholarship, the outstanding scholarship, or the students who meet the new school scholarship criteria (those who will enter the school in 2020 or later) are not eligible to apply;

(5) Students who have not completed semester registration, have not paid tuition and accommodation fees, have violated school rules and regulations, or have violated accommodation management regulations are not allowed to apply;

(six)Students who have deferred graduation are not eligible to apply；

7. Only domestic students can apply.

Qualified Applicants：

1. English-taught Bachelor Students：Should be Top 10 in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 MBBS Class, Top 3 in 2022, 2023 MBBS Class. Qualified applicants are listed in APPENDIX.

2. Chinese-taught Bachelor Students：GPA≥2.3;

3. Master & doctoral students within prescribed study period could apply, standardized score≥75.

4. Students sponsored by CSC, Jasmine full scholarship, One Belt One Road scholarship, and those who got admitted since 2020 with SEU scholarship can not apply.

5. Those who violate the laws, university regulations, including dorm regulations, or have not finished semester registration, have not fully-paid their tuition and accommodation fees cannot apply.

6. Students who extended their study cannot apply.

7. This application is only for students currently in China.

(III) If you are a graduate student, you need to provide a recommendation letter from your supervisor, which should state your learning and research achievements in the past year, and include the signature and date of the supervisor.

(IV) A list and supporting documents of research results published within one year, other learning achievements, awards received, and volunteer work undertaken.

Application Documents：

1. Fill out the application form for Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship application form in Chinese or in English.

2. Fill out the Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship Review Form in Chinese.

3. Recommendation letter from supervisor (postgraduates need to submit).The letter should state your study and research achievements in the past one year with supervisor’s signature and date.

4. A list of research and publications,learning achievements, awards and volunteer works within one year and supporting documents.

Please submit the above materials in paper form to the International Students Office directly. (MBBS students should submit the materials to the class monitor of their grade, who will collect all the materials and submit them to the Academic Affairs Office)

Please fill out, print and collect all the hard-copy of document and submit to International Students’ Office in person, Sipailou Campus. (MBBS students submit the materials to the monitor of each class, monitors submit the materials to academic office)

APPENDIX ：The following is the eligible list of each grade of MBBS Program（Being on the list does not necessarily mean you are eligible to apply, and all the other conditions above must be met）
