The World Computing Congress is a world-class event focusing on the computing field. It is hosted by the People’s Government of Hunan Province and is held for the sixth consecutive year. This year’s conference is themed “Intelligent Computing for Everything, Hunan’s Future – Computing for New Productivity”, with an opening ceremony and theme report meeting, 10 special events, a special exhibition, and a competition.

The two-day conference brought together 18 academicians, more than 100 authoritative experts and executives of leading computing companies from home and abroad. Peng Liangdong, a research and development engineer of the company, told reporters that the robot dog they developed is mainly used in fixed-point search and rescue, blind guide, life companionship, entertainment and other scenarios. “This robot dog is equipped with a 4D ultra-wide-angle laser radar, and the perception system is improved by 200%.”

“This is a live-working robot.” At the special exhibition, Long Zhengyu, a staff member of the State Grid Hunan Ultra-High Voltage Transmission Company, pointed to a device on the booth and introduced that since the robot can climb onto high-altitude cables and complete the work alone, it can save the company 15,000 yuan in work costs each time. If 3,240 operations are performed each year and half of the tasks are completed by robots, the average annual cost savings can be 24 million yuan.

Exoskeleton body structure, 48V low-voltage architecture, wire-controlled steering technology… At the Tesla booth, staff introduced to reporters the Cybertruck pickup truck, of which there are only 8 in the country. The truck not only supports OTA upgrades, but also comes standard with FSD hardware and software, setting a new benchmark for the passenger car industry. It is reported that this is Tesla’s first time to participate in the World Computing Conference, and the Tesla humanoid robot and the best-selling Model 3 were also displayed on site.
