Bernard Law Montgomery (November 17, 1887 - March 25, 1976) was a British field marshal and military strategist. During the outbreak of World War II, he was one of the most outstanding generals of the Allied forces. He is famous for successfully covering the Dunkirk evacuation. He commanded the famous Battle of El Alamein, the Sicily Landing, and the Normandy Landing, which are the three masterpieces of his military career. In 2002, Montgomery was selected as one of the 100 Greatest Britons by the British BBC.
Diana Spencer (July 1, 1961 – August 31, 1997), born in Norfolk, England, is the youngest daughter of Earl Edward Spencer. She married Charles, Prince of Wales, on July 29, 1981. She is Charles’ first wife and the biological mother of Prince William and Prince Harry. In June 1987, Diana donated all the proceeds of 3.5 million pounds from the auction of 79 pieces of clothing she had sold to charity. Her behavior deeply touched ordinary people, especially those in distress.
