According to the requirements of the China Scholarship Council’s “Start of the Selection of Partial Scholarship Programs with the United States in 2025”, we are now launching the recommendation and selection of students for our school’s 2025 American Cooperation Scholarship Program.

Application Requirements

1. Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, love the motherland, have good moral character, abide by laws and regulations, have a sense of responsibility to serve the country, society and the people, and have a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values.
2. Applicants should have a good professional foundation and development potential, abide by academic ethics and academic norms, have outstanding performance in work and study, and have the professionalism and sense of mission to serve the country after returning to China after completing their studies.
3. Please prepare the application materials according to the requirements in the attachment.

Registration and Processing Time

1. Before October 7, 2024: Applicants must complete the application and submit the required materials on the website www.csc.edu.cn. Applicants must also contact the US side, familiarize themselves with the application process, and prepare the required materials.
2. Before October 14, 2024: Review and recommendation by the Chinese acceptance unit.
3. Before the end of November 2024: China Scholarship Council will review and confirm the list of admitted candidates and announce the admission results. Candidates must also complete the application process of the US school according to the requirements of the foreign party. The specific application deadline is subject to the notification on the official website of the school.
4. Before the end of February 2025: Each pilot program school will gradually determine the US admissions personnel.
5. Starting from March 2025: Admitted students need to submit supplementary materials as required and start the dispatch procedures according to the requirements of the China Scholarship Council. If you have received the admission notice from both the Chinese and foreign sides before this time, you can submit supplementary materials at any time and start the dispatch procedures.
6. Before the end of December 2025: admitted candidates will be dispatched.

Job Requirements

1. All colleges are requested to attach great importance to this, strictly follow the requirements of the China Scholarship Council projects, conscientiously recommend candidates, ensure that the recommended candidates fully meet the application requirements, and provide targeted recommendations for them.
2. Each college should submit the paper materials of the recommended candidates (including the application form signed by the applicant, the recommendation form with the college seal, and all the materials uploaded to the registration system) to the International Cooperation and Exchange Office before October 3. The electronic materials should be sent to the designated email address foreignaffairs@sdsmu.edu.cn.
