Notice on the Application and Selection of the 2024 Postgraduate Social Awards (Grants)
All postgraduate students, according to the school’s work arrangements, the college will start the application and selection of 2024 postgraduate social awards (grants) from now on. The relevant matters are now notified as follows:
1. Award Setting, Quota Allocation and Selection Criteria
China Electronics Technology Group Corporation-Xidian University Collaborative Innovation Scholarship
The “China Electronics Technology Group Corporation-Xidian University Collaborative Innovation Scholarship” is funded by China Electronics Technology Group Corporation.
1. Award Recipients
Full-time graduate students (PhD and Master’s students).
2. Award Level and Amount
Special Scholarship: 1, 50,000 yuan per person;
First-class scholarship: 25 people, each with a reward of 10,000 yuan;
Second-class scholarship: 50 people, each with a reward of 4,000 yuan.
3. Quota Allocation
The School of Electronic Engineering recommended 21 people, and the entire school recommended 120 people for the final selection.
4. Selection Criteria
(1) Full-time graduate students (doctoral and master’s students);
(2) Abide by school rules and regulations and have no record of any disciplinary or illegal violations within the current year;
(3) Excellent academic performance, ranking in the top 30% of the major;
(4) Actively participate in scientific research activities in the field of electronic information technology and have outstanding performance. Applicants who have participated in relevant projects of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and its affiliated research institutes in the past two years will be given priority;
(5) Graduate students who have signed employment agreements with China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and its affiliated research institutes will be given priority;
(6) Among applicants who meet the above conditions, priority will be given to poor students;
(7) Those who have received this scholarship are not allowed to apply;
(8) There is no need to indicate the scholarship level you are applying for when submitting materials.
II. Application Materials
1. Application Form and Summary Form for China Electronics Technology Group Corporation-Xidian University Scholarship;
2. Copies of the applicant’s ID card and graduate student certificate;
3. Other supporting materials such as copies of certificates for national scholarships or national inspirational scholarships, etc.
Note: If recommended by two or more chief experts or above from China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and its affiliated research institutes, the application can be directly submitted to the school’s Science Research Institute for summary (with a signed recommendation letter from the experts and other application materials).
3. Selection Process
Students applying for scholarships should submit relevant attachments to Room 222, Section 2, Main Building before 16:00 on September 26 (three copies of the paper version, and the electronic version of the attachments to 2630436896@qq.com, the email naming format is student number + name + China Electronics Scholarship Application). Failure to submit after the deadline will be deemed as automatic waiver of the application. Note: Please leave the major ranking blank in the application form.
