Unlock Your Potential: Arabic Academy Launches ‘Discover Your Future’ Program in Collaboration with Imam University
Empowering Future Leaders: Arab National Bank Academy Hosts University Students
As part of its community initiatives, the Arab National Bank Academy welcomed a group of university students under the “Discover Your Future” program. The program, adopted by the Bank’s Public Relations and Social Responsibility Department, aims to prepare students for the work environment.
The first group of students to participate in the program were the leaders and members of the Insurance and Risk Management Club from Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University. Led by Dr. Ashwaq Binte Maziyad Al-Mutairi, Head of the Student Club Unit, the students visited the Arab National Bank Academy to learn about the banking work environment.
During the visit, the students received a comprehensive overview of the bank’s financial and banking activities from Mr. Sultan Al-Maliki, Training Officer of the Arab National Bank Academy. Mr. Thamer Khan from the Enterprise Risk Management Department also shared insights on risk management and the importance of a healthy work environment in improving employee capabilities and productivity.
The students also learned about the significance of effective communication between management and employees, as well as the role of training and continuous learning opportunities in maintaining professional competence. The bank’s initiatives to motivate employees and generate innovative ideas were also discussed.
Mr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Babtain, President of the Academy, welcomed the visiting delegation and highlighted the strategic role of the Academy in the Bank. He emphasized the importance of academic institutions in creating and developing national capacity and expertise, and expressed the Bank’s commitment to supporting the “Discover Your Future” program as part of its national and social responsibility.
Dr. Ashwaq Al-Mutairi, Head of the visiting team, expressed her appreciation for the Arab National Bank’s initiative and the positive impact of the visit on the students. She noted that the program provides valuable practical knowledge and training opportunities, combining academic gains with experience and practical skills to build distinctive national skills.
