Recurrent Education Open Course: Learn JW-CAD for the First Time

The Technology Support Center at Tohoku Institute of Technology is hosting a Recurrent Education Open Course, “Learn JW-CAD for the First Time,” on two Saturdays: September 28th and October 26th, 2024. This course aims to teach the basics of architectural CAD, helping participants gain expertise and advance their careers.

This course is designed for working adults with no experience or beginners of JW-CAD. Even first-timers can take this course with confidence. The course will cover the basic knowledge and skills necessary for architectural CAD using the free software JW-CAD.

Course Content

Participants will acquire the basic knowledge and skills necessary for architectural CAD using JW-CAD. The course will cover:

• Overview of CAD
• Basic operation of JW-CAD
• Architectural drawing practice

Note: This is a two-part course. There will be no introductory lectures on keyboard operation or other aspects of computer use.
