Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and take corrective actions to prevent breakdowns.
- Install, adjust, and calibrate new machinery and equipment according to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair logs, inspection reports, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other maintenance staff and train operators on proper equipment use.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform necessary repairs promptly.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Fluent Italian and English, Japanese skills are advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation equipment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial environment.
- Valid Driving License
