Korean and U.S. Ambassadors Strengthen Economic Ties in Three-State Visit
The Korean Ambassador to the U.S., Cho Hyun-dong, and U.S. Ambassador to Korea, Philip Goldberg, embarked on a joint visit to three U.S. states - Michigan, Texas, and Arizona. The diplomatic tour culminated in a “Dialogue with the Korean and U.S. Ambassadors” event, where local political, business, and academic leaders gathered to discuss Korea-U.S. cooperation.

Ambassador Cho highlighted the significance of economic cooperation between the two nations, emphasizing that it demonstrates the Korea-US alliance’s evolution into a technology alliance. He stressed the need for further strengthening this cooperation in a rapidly changing strategic environment.
Governor Whitmer and other state leaders expressed their appreciation for the importance of the ROK-US alliance in the region. They pledged to provide various types of support to help Korean companies expand into the U.S. market.
