Wakayama University International Symposium: Japanese Language Education in Asia

The future of Japanese language education is a pressing concern, and this symposium aims to address it. We will delve into the current state of Japanese language education in Japan and overseas, and discuss the development of meaningful learning experiences for learners.

Professor Nishiguchi Koichi will deliver a keynote speech titled “A new perspective on language for overcoming linguistic subjectivity in learning and supporting Japanese language acquisition.” This will be followed by reports on Japanese language education initiatives at Wakayama University and its partner universities in China, Uzbekistan, South Korea, and Vietnam.
