The Birth of the Global Network of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals

The Global Network of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals was formed in 2018, with the aim of connecting young Vietnamese intellectuals worldwide. The network has grown significantly, with over 1,000 delegates from various countries and territories participating in its annual forums.

Connecting Members and Creating Opportunities

In addition to connecting members based on their specialties, the network also develops connections based on geographical areas. This approach creates numerous opportunities for members, contributing to the network’s sustainable development.

The Role of Young Overseas Vietnamese in Development

The young generation of overseas Vietnamese plays a vital role in maintaining and developing associations abroad. They bring new vitality, creative ideas, and the ability to apply modern technology to innovate operating methods.

Proposals to Enhance the Role of Young Overseas Vietnamese

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Le Hung, proposes four solutions to enhance the importance and role of young overseas Vietnamese in the country’s integration and development process:

1. Organize Annual Intellectual Exchange Connection Programs

It is necessary to concretize and organize annual domestic and foreign intellectual exchange connection programs and activities, closely following the country’s development situation, promoting the role of mastery, and creating a desire to contribute in today’s young generation.

2. Strengthen Connection and Exchange with Young Generations

Strengthen connection and exchange with young generations at home and abroad through various forms, including regular channels of exchange and activities throughout the year, such as seminars and scientific seminars.

3. Promote Vietnamese Culture

Actively promote Vietnamese culture, with each young person serving as an ambassador to help promote the Vietnamese image and culture to international friends.

4. Focus on Propaganda and Dissemination of Information

Focus on propaganda and dissemination of information and legal policies to the young generation of overseas Vietnamese, utilizing their ability to access and use information technology to transmit information quickly and effectively.

By implementing these proposals, the role of young overseas Vietnamese in building their homeland can be significantly enhanced, contributing to the country’s development and integration process.
