About the Sony Education Foundation
The Sony Education Foundation was established to continue the educational support that Sony founder Masaru Ibuka began providing in 1959. Our main pillars are “nurturing a scientific mind” and “raising children who love science.” We support the creation of an environment that nurtures children’s “scientific minds” so that children living in uncertain times can face any challenge with curiosity and conviction and carve out a bright future.
